Melissa is pictured below at 12 years old. Sadly, Melissa passed away a few months later.
Melissa was imported from Sweden as a young puppy. She had a short, successful career in conformation, owner handled by Chris, followed by wins in lure coursing, obedience and agility. Melissa's only litter was born December 5, 2014, 7 girls and 4 males. Their sire is CH Aashtoria Aruzia Java Chip ROM-C. They have 9 AKC Conformation Champion children. 8 of their children were all finished as yearlings and 2 year olds. They include the winners of the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 BCOA Versatility Award, and the first borzoi to earn a Masters Agility Championship (MACH) and MACH2. Melissa's children, now 7 years old, are continuing to win in obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, scent work and conformation.
