After a long time off due to COVID, and no shows being held, Penny attended the Michigan Hound Association shows, September 25-26, 2021. She won BOB over 4 other specials for 4 points and Group 2, judge Eric White. On Sunday, she won BOS for 1 point, judge Todd Miller.
January 17, 18 & 19, 2020, in Novi Michigan, at the Livonia show, Penny won BOB over 7 specials for 4 points. The next day, Penny won BOS over a bitch special for 1 point at the Michigan Hound Association show. Also, on Saturday, she won BOB at the Oakland kennel club show for 3 points, and on to a Group 3. On Sunday Penny won BOB over 5 specials and a Group I. Penny has now won over 200 Grand Champion points to finish her Silver Grand Championship.
Penny's journey to her Championship: Seven month old Penny started her show career, November 27, 2015 winning BOS in sweepstakes at the Michigan Hound show, owner handled.
At the Livonia show January 21, 2016, Penny won 2 points, Best Puppy, then on to Best Puppy in Show. (pictured).
January 22, 2016 at the Livonia show, judge Shelley Hennessy, Penny won one point from the 9 - 12 month class. January 23, 2016, 9 month old Penny won 2 points from the puppy class, judge John Wade, and Best Puppy at the Oakland County MI Show. At the two Saginaw Valley MI shows April 9 & 10, 2016 Penny won one point Saturday from the puppy class, judge Elizabeth Muthard, and Best of Breed over 2 male specials and one bitch special for 2 points Sunday, judge Michael Faulkner.
April 30 & May 1, 2016 Penny was shown in the 12 - 18 month class at the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County Michigan shows. Penny won one point and Best of Breed over a bitch special and Group 2 on Saturday, judge William Usherwood. Sunday, Penny won Best of Breed over three specials for a 3 point major and Group 4, judge William P. Shelton. Penny won the points from the 12 - 18 month class, both days for a total of 2 points October 1 & 2, 2016 at the Monroe Michigan show, judges Lawrence Terricone and Ken Murray. November 12, 2016, 18 month old Penny finished her Championship from the open class, winning Best of Winners for a 4 point major at the Kalamzaoo kennel club show, judge Rita Biddle.
Penny's career as a Special: November 19, 2016 Penny won an Award Of Merit at the Midwest Borzoi Club specialty show, held with the Lima kennel club show in Columubus Ohio, judge Gayle Bontecou. April 29 & 30, 2017 at the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County shows, Penny won Select Bitch over 3 bitch specials for 1 GCH point under Steven Gladstone on Saturday. Sunday, Penny won Best of Breed over 4 specials for a 5 point major and on to a Group 2, judge Mrs S Greendale-Paveza. May 27, 2017, Penny won an Award Of Merit at the MBC specialty in Kalamzaoo, judge William P Shelton.
January 18, 19, 20, 21, 2018 Penny won Best of Breed for a 4 point GCH major over specials at the Livonia Michigan show, judge Charles Trotter. Penny won a 3 point BOS major over bitch specials on Friday, judge Ray Filburn. Penny won BOB Saturday over specials, judge Neena Van Camp and BOB Sunday over specials, judge Joe Walton, for two more 4 point GCH majors. April 7, 2018, Penny won Best of Breed for a 5 point major over 3 male specials and one bitch special at the Saginaw show, judge Mrs J Stacy. April 8, 2018, at the Saginaw show, Penny won Best of Breed for a 5 point major. That win finished her Grand Champion title. Penny also won a Group 4 and is pictured with judge Ms N Riggsbee, handler Shayna Garrison, and owner Ginger Jones.

June 7 and 8, 2018 Penny won BOB both days, for a total of 2 points, judges Roger Hartinger and Mrs H Clark at the Midland MI shows. At the Mount Pleasant shows, June 9 and 10, 2018, Penny won BOB for 1 point, judge Paula Hartinger and on Sunday, won BOB and Group 3, judge H Clark. June 24, 2018, Penny won Group 2 at the Detroit kennel club show, judge S Dainard. July 7, 2018 Penny won BOS for a 4 point major over specials at the Ann Arbor show, judge Ms S R Lyons. July 8, 2018, Penny won Best of Breed for a 5 point major, over specials at the Ann Arbor show, judge M Faulkner. July 14, 2018, Penny was BOS for a point, at the Battle Creek show, judge Ms B L Clarke. November 8, 2018 at the Pontiac MI show Penny won BOB for 5 points, judge Ms S Rempel. November 10 and 11, 2018, Penny won Select Bitch both for two 5 point majors, at the Kalamazoo shows, judges Carol Spritzer and Ms J N Paulk. December 1, 2018 at the Ingham County show, Penny won BOB for 5 points and Group 1, judge Mrs J E Treiber. December 2, 2018, Penny won BOB for 4 point, judge Mrs T M DePietro and Group 2, judge D Thornton. Penny's final rankings for 2018 are #6 breed with 201 dogs defeated, and #8 all-breed with 774 dogs defeated. For BCOA member owned dogs, Penny is #7 all-breed and #6 breed. For MBC member owned dogs, Penny is #1 (breed system).
January 17 and 18, 2019 at the two Livonia MI shows, Penny won Select Bitch both days, for two 4 point majors, judges Judy Webb and Andrea Bradford. At the January 18 Michigan Hound club show, Penny won BOS for 4 points, judge Patti Neale. January 19, at the Oakland show, Penny won BOS for 4 points, judge Ms B L Clarke. February 11, 2019 Penny competed in the Westminster kennel club's breed competition and won BOS over 10 of the top bitches in the country. At the two Saginaw Valley shows, April 6 and 7, Penny won Select Bitch for 2 points, judge Dr S Keating and BOB for 5 points on Sunday, judge Roger Hartinger. April 27 and 28 at the two Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County shows, Penny was BOS for 2 points on Saturday and BOB for 4 points on Sunday, judges Elliot Weiss and Ellen Fetter. May 24 at the Holland MI show, Penny was BOS for 2 points, judge J E Frederiksen. May 25, 2019 at the Grand Rapids show, at the MBC supported entry show, Penny won BOB for 5 points, judge S Dainard, and on to a Group I (160 dogs defeated), judge Barbara O'Neill. Also on Saturday, Penny won Best of Breed over 38 borzoi at the independent Midwest Borzoi Club specialty, for 5 points, pictured with judge Barbara O'Neill, junior handler Nora Codington and owner Ginger Jones.
September 28 and 29, 2019 at the Monroe Michigan shows, Penny won BOB both days, judges Edmund Dziuk and Kim Ramey-LeBlanc. On Saturday, she earned 4 GCH points over 3 male specials and 2 bitch specials. On Sunday, she earned 5 GCH points, over 4 male specials and 3 bitch specials. November 7, 8, 9, 10, 2019, at the shows held in Kalamazoo MI, Penny won BOB for 5 points and Group 4 on Friday. She won BOB for 5 points over specials on Sunday. She won BOS over specials (2 points each win) Thursday and Saturday. November 30, 2019, Penny won BOB over 5 specials and a Group 2, at the Ingham county show. December 1, 2019, Penny won BOB over specials and a Group 3 at the Ingham country show. Penny finished 2019, as #13 breed system with 137 points and #14 all breed system with 562 points.
